Retroperitoneal space is a rare location for schwannomas accounting for about 1-3% of all schwannomas with wide variety of symptoms on presentation. We herein report a case of retroperitoneal schwannoma in an adult who suffered from left lower abdominal pain for 1 year. We also highlight the chain of investigations, surgical management that was undertaken and the postoperative complication that the patient developed.Metrics
